DEMOLITION AND RECONSTRUCTION
Demolition and reconstruction project for a residential building in Brescia.
The project consists of demolishing an old 1960s apartment block and reconstructing two residential units that are innovative and environmentally conscious.
The work grew out of a carefully developed design in which each measurement informed the next, creating an overall harmony that runs through the furnishings of the entire house, moving through different levels of permeability and contrast.
Each element was conceived and linked in harmony with the others, designing every space in relation to the rest, as one large place to live.
The project pays particular attention to bio-building, in the construction techniques, finishing materials and small design choices for the outdoor areas, such as the green roof and the bio-pond.
